When Forever Fed began serving meals in 2010 another ministry partnered with us and provided gently used clothing intermittently at our Block Party Events. Clothing was so popular at those events we decided to expand and continue offering clothing through a Mobile Clothes Closet.
Our Mobile Clothes Closet now travels in a 14-foot box truck to some of our food pantry locations. It is filled with racks of gently used clothing, shoes, and blankets. Clothing is off loaded and guests peruse our offerings and select their items at will. Each family is given one large shopping bag to carry home their selections. Certain seasons warrant additional blessings. During the fall we also distribute hundreds of coats and blankets.
Donated clothing is stored in a storage facility, sorted by groups of volunteers, and hung on hangers waiting to be placed on the 5 clothing racks stored on our trailer. Thousands of pieces of clothing are distributed each month through Tammy Hobb’s dedication to this ministry and many families are blessed.

We accept donations of clean clothing in good repair and specific to the season we are presently in as we have limited storage space. We begin collecting winter weight clothing in August and summer weight clothing in March. Please contact Tammy@ForeverFed.org or phone 678-883-3314 to donate.
